We had a very busy day today! We started off this morning by going to an "Egg Drop"...10,000 eggs were dropped from a helicopter-which sounded like so much fun-in theory. Well, it turned out to be an absolute disaster. The second the helicopter dropped the eggs, every single one of them broke (you would think they would plan ahead on this one) and then chaos ensued. Long story short, Ryan didn't get a single egg until the crowd had cleared, then he ran and picked up a bunch of busted eggs that had been trampled. Which was fine with him, he was still happy-but what a waste of time! Poor Gavin didn't get a single egg since he was bypassed by big kids and never even made it to the field! Here's the FEW photos I got...

Our original plans for the day included another helicopter egg drop, but we quickly changed our minds after the first one. Instead we headed over to the Dallas Annual Easter Egg Hunt. It was MUCH more organized and well planned out. The 2 & under kids got a whole baseball field to themselves. Ryan was in heaven! And he even got the "Grand Prize" egg! He won a whole bag of goodies but he was most excited about his new pinwheel & carrot race car.

Gavin was hunting for eggs over in the field for 3 & 4 year olds, but he & Ryan met up for a quick picture with the Easter Bunny

And finally, we came home to color eggs before bed. Ryan had a great time getting messy & coloring his own eggs. He & daddy made eggs with tractors, choo choos & a special RYAN egg. When we were done coloring, Ryan wanted to cook more eggs!

We hope everyone has a very Happy Easter!
