Missing Boston...

Ok, as most of you know...when we bought our house we were straight from out-of-state and didn't realize the stupid move we were making when we chose the location of our house. We were going from 2 incomes to 1 with a baby on the way, so instead of using the amount we were pre-approved for, we took the safe route so we would never worry about money.
Well, after 2 LONG years, I finally convinced Dave that we had to move. So, we had a realtor visit last night. And much to my disappointment, we were told that it was a giant waste of time and we shouldn't even bother. It turns out that there are currently 11 houses for sale in our subdivision and in the last 14 months only 1 has sold and it sold for $25,000 less than the asking price.
I felt like I had to get that off my chest! Long story short, we're staying for at least another year...and I'm sick of driving!

I know the feeling/frustration! Our house was on the market for 9 months, still hasn't officially "sold," and we dropped the original price by $15,000. :(

I feel your pain too...we'd love to move but it's just not a good time to sell unfortunately...
