Bee Movie

We took Ryan to his first official movie today. Every time he saw the commercial for the Bee Movie he got excited and kept saying "more bee". I thought it might be a disaster, but decided there was only one way to find out. Well, he showed me! He sat through the entire movie and loved it. He had a giant drink, candy and bees...what more could a kid ask for! Now we're excited to take him again!

Thanksgiving & Downtown

We hosted Thanksgiving at our house this year. Ryan was so happy to spend the holiday with his best buddy, Gavin! Auntie, Uncle Rick & Grammy were just a bonus! The boys gobbled up their dinners, played choo choos and did some wrestling. They were "thankful" to have each other :)

Tonight we headed into Atlanta to check out some lights. We started with some shopping, dinner & a choo choo ride at Atlantic Station. Of course, Ryan wanted nothing to do with the shopping...he just wanted to ride the train!

Then we headed over to Centennial Olympic Park. Ryan was SO excited to see all the lights and run around the park! It was cold so we started off with a little Starbucks-I know he's only 2, but he already loves white chocolate mochas as much as his mommy does! Then we visited the big tree, saw some reindeer & watched the ice skaters. Ryan didn't ever want to leave!

Sno Cones!

I got such a great birthday present today! A Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine! Ryan wanted to try it out immediately, and I had to let him since he's been letting me play with his birthday gifts :)
We made some grape sno-cones...which Ryan loved, and of course he wanted more. He was looking all over trying to figure out how to get more to come out!
Thank you SO MUCH Apryl, Chris, Bennett & Alexander. You guys are the best!

Thanksgiving Playdate

We went to a Thanksgiving Playdate today at Cooper's house. I don't know what's with me these days, but I forgot to take pictures again. I got the camera out about 5 minutes before we left...so this is all I've got. I don't have any pictures of it, but Ryan got to play with his friends Cooper, Avery, Caleb, Sylvia, Brianna & Keira. He had a great time!
We both had a great day with some good friends! Thanks Nadine, Cooper & Fletcher!

And of course, there's always a picture of Ryan with the baby carriage

Riding the Pink Pig

Macy's in Atanta has a train ride around the holidays called The Pink Pig. Apparently, its one of those things you just have to do if you live here. So, we ventured out with Grandma & Grandpa to ride the Pink Pig. Ryan went on two rides, one with daddy & one with Grandpa. He had a great time. When he was done, he wanted "mo tee tee".

And before he left, he had to make sure everyone knew that Ryan had been there, so he used some chalk to sign his name on the ground.

Ryan's 2!!!

It's official...our little sweet pea is a full grown 2 year old! And he had a very exciting birthday! He was very excited when he woke up this morning and discovered that daddy took the day off to celebrate with him!

We started off with a doctors appointment (horrible, I know-but by the time I realized that I scheduled it on his birthday it was too late to reschedule!). He weighs in at 29 pounds and 6 oz (60th percentile) and measures 35 1/2 inches long (75th percentile). In his doctors words (and mine) "he's perfect" :) He had to have a finger prick, but was a trooper and didn't say a word, plus he was excited to get an Elmo bandaid!

Then Ryan got to have a lunch of his choice. Of course, he chose a chicken nugget happy meal and playland. He especially enjoyed his ice cream! And then he & daddy played for a while.

And then when he woke up from his nap, he found that Grandpa & Grandma had driven all the way here from Florida to spend his birthday with him. He liked showing them how much he loved the train table they gave to him for his birthday.

And finally, another birthday cake! I think he was disappointed at first that it wasn't a Bob the Builder cake, but once he got his hands on some frosting all was well again :)

Happy Birthday Ryan!

Today Ryan celebrated turning 2 with all of his good friends! He had a great time jumping with his friends, eating cake & being the center of attention!

After his party we went for out for an ice cream to celebrate with Gavin. Needless to say, the boys enjoyed it thoroughly.

And finally, we came home to open presents!
Ry had a great time ripping the paper off (with a little help from Gavin, of course) and he got some amazing gifts from his friends.

Thanks to everyone who came and made Ryans day a little more special!
